Thirty years have passed since, on June 23rd 1993, Massimo Urbani was found dead in his flat in Rome. We want to pay an homage to the great player and human being he was with a special night solely dedicated to his music.

Massimo Urbani’s career was nothing short of remarkable, leaving an indelible mark on the jazz scene. His playing style was characterized by a unique blend of passion, intensity, and unmistakable fiery energy. Whether delivering soulful ballads or embarking on exhilarating up-tempo bebop excursions, Urbani’s playing was always infused with unparalleled precision, sense of urgency, and fervor.
