JUNGLE GIULIA (Rhinoçéresse – Berlin)

The first weekend of march will be curated by Rhinoceresse, a new event series for female music artists and collectors with emphasis in jazz and soul. On friday, march 6th we will play music of female artists only, out of our own record collection, and on saturday, march 7th we welcome for the the first time Jungle Giula, the well known soul-djane, collector and good friend who will bring a mesmerizing selection of 7inches including the best of funk, soul and jazz.
Das erste Märzwochenende wird von Rhinoceresse kuratiert, einer neuen Veranstaltungsreihe für Musikkünstlerinnen und Sammlerinnen mit Schwerpunkt Jazz und Soul. Am Freitag, den 6. März, werden wir ausschließlich Musik von Künstlerinnen aus unserer eigenen Plattensammlung spielen, und am Samstag, den 7. März, heißen wir Jungle Giulia, die bekannte Soul-Djane, Sammlerin und gute Freundin, zum ersten Mal im Rhino willkommen. Sie wird Sie eine faszinierende Auswahl von hauptsächlich 7inches mitbringen, darunter das Beste aus Funk, Soul und Jazz.
